About the role
An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will become a trusted partner of the leadership team within our Construction division, providing financial oversight and strategic support across major infrastructure and development initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for capital projects.
Ensure robust financial governance and compliance across all project phases.
Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
Support the delivery of project objectives through financial planning and risk management.
Review and challenge capital plans, cash flow projections, and financial assumptions.
Lead the preparation of monthly management reporting, including Capital Expenditure and Cashflow analysis compared to budget/forecasts.
About you
Your demonstrated robust previous experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner / Manager, looking after teams delivering a complex finance function within a large organsiation in a similar industry will be the key to your success in this role.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting as well as CA / CPA qualifications are advantageous.
Advanced knowledge of the Finance module of an ERP (SAP preferred).
Experience of month-end close and finance planning process.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
An ability to manage complex projects and present data/concepts in a clear manner.
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to interact & influence stakeholders, including Senior Management / Executives.
