Role Overview
RK Group is looking for a highly driven Finance Manager (CA) with strong experience in the e-commerce sector to manage end-to-end finance operations, ensure statutory compliance, and partner with leadership on strategic financial decision-making. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution and strategic advisory capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Compliance
• Manage end-to-end finance operations, including accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate TDS, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory filings as per Indian regulations
• Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits; coordinate with auditors, consultants, and authorities
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable laws
Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial reports, and dashboards for management review
• Track and control costs, margins, and working capital, especially within an e-commerce operating model
Leadership & Business Partnering
• Act as a finance business partner to the leadership team, supporting strategic and operational decisions
• Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
• Support leadership in pricing strategy, profitability analysis, investment decisions, and cost optimization
E-commerce Finance Exposure
• Manage finance processes related to marketplaces, seller settlements, payment gateways, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of platform reports with books of accounts
• Work closely with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to align financial controls with business growth
Team Management & Process Improvement
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members to ensure timely deliverables and high standards
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, HR, Legal, and Technology
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, Direct Taxation, statutory compliance, and audits
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and financial analysis
• Solid understanding of e-commerce business models and marketplace accounting
• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven experience working closely with senior leadership and founders
Qualification & Experience
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 5–6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, D2C, or internet companies
• Mandatory experience in managing audits, taxation, and leadership reporting
