Job Description
We are seeking a capable and hands on Finance Manager to support our Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and meaningful commercial insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the day‑to‑day finance operations while developing their leadership capability in a growing and collaborative environment.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement, while partnering with stakeholders across the business. You will have access to variety and gain exposure across the full spectrum of finance, operations and product for a rapidly expanding international business.
Beyond traditional finance responsibilities, you will have direct involvement in client financial implementations supporting ERP deployments, giving you the opportunity to ensure financial best practice is embedded in client environments.
This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days at our inner South East Melbourne office.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Group's budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist in monthly consolidated financial statements and executive commentary
Support long-term financial modelling and strategic planning initiatives
Oversee global payroll and statutory obligations across regions
Drive KPI reporting and performance tracking across departments
Partner with operational leaders to improve efficiency, performance and margin uplift
Provide financial expertise during client ERP implementations, particularly across APAC.
Oversee finance support activities for the APAC region.
Contribute to financial system enhancements and product-related initiatives
About You
CPA or CA qualified
3+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
Experience with multi-entity reporting and consolidations
Excellent financial control and reconciliation capability
Comfortable engaging directly with clients on financial system matters
Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong ERP and systems capability, confident in technology driven environments
Experience in SaaS, technology, ERP environments or client-facing finance roles will be highly regarded.
