We're on the lookout for a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant - Roading who is ready to step into a key role supporting our high-impact operations across the country covering surfacing, maintenance operations, and traffic management.

This newly created position is a rare opportunity to work across some of New Zealand's most critical roading projects. Reporting to the Finance Manager Regional Infrastructure, you will work closely with the General Manager Roading and senior leaders to provide commercial insights, budgeting expertise, and performance analysis.

What you'll be doing:
Partnering with senior leaders across Roading to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans
Leading insightful financial analysis across national operations including plant utilisation, labour efficiency, and contract profitability
Supporting commercial tenders, pricing strategies, and business case development for new contracts and projects
Driving operational performance through margin protection, cost control, and business partnering
Championing a culture of commercial awareness, compliance, and risk management
What you bring:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
8+ years of financial experience, including commercial or divisional finance roles
Proven ability to work alongside operational teams to deliver real-world impact
CA/CPA qualification and ideally exposure to SAP or S/4HANA
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or multi-site industries (a strong plus)
