We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team Part-Time. This role is located at the Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia office in Sydney, which serves as a central hub, providing support to our operational teams based in our two locations.
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic financial professional to drive the management of internal controls and financial procedures to optimise profits and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.
Key Duties
Management of the purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable processes and functions.
Management of all banking transactions and deposits
Recording of all internal transfers, recharges and wastage in Purchase Plus
Assist operational departments with technical issues associated with point of sale/EFTPOS/hardware and other operational devices and applications.
Liaise with Voyages Corporate Office finance team to facilitate reporting and recording of business transactions and meeting of all financial deadlines.
You will have:
Experience in tourism and hospitality operations.
Certificate IV in Accounting & Book-keeping or minimum 4 years of equivalent experience.
Experience in the use of the businesses core financial systems or other financial operating systems (Purchase Plus, Business Central, Shiji, Wincave, Infrasys – will be highly regarded)
Skills and knowledge in point of sale and EFTPOS
