IQVIA is looking for a Financial Analyst with full Australian working rights to join our Team based in Sydney.
Job Description:
As our new Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting IQVIA’s financial planning and analysis activities. You will offer valuable insights that drive strategic decisions within the organization. Being part of a highly visible and interactive small team and working closely with the Business Units, you will prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budget figures while identifying key trends in the process.
This role is ideal for you if you are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are ready to step into a position that combines technical work with client interaction. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure the achievement of business financial targets. This will involve monitoring spending, providing insights, and giving early warnings. Lastly, you will ensure compliance with financial regulation and identify/monitor areas of risk and/or opportunity, assessing their financial impact on the business to provide valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making within the organization.
Qualifications:
Preferably 3-5 years’ professional experience in a relevant field or company.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or accounting, ideally studying towards CPA.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
Experience with SAP and Hyperion highly desirable.
Experience with budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Flexible team member, able to multi-task and cope with pressure of deadlines.
