What are we looking for a.k.a “The JD” :
We are looking for a detail-oriented, meticulous Financial Accountant
to look after bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and other related activities and who can join us immediately.
What will you be doing at Baker Street a.k.a “Your Responsibilities" :
• Record and maintain all the entries of day-to-day business transactions like Sales Purchase, Payment, receipts, Purchase Orders etc.
• Keep Bank Accounts up to date by posting day-to-day transactions
• Maintain all the records & files in a proper manner
• Record all expenses and review those expenses & keep the track of expenses every month
• Manage purchase master and oversee if expenses occur as per master,
• Prepare monthly GST Data for filing
• Prepare monthly TDS data for payment and quarterly data for return filing
• Generating invoices and challan in Zoho books on a day-to-day basis
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports as required
• Internal audit for assets and office equipment stock regularly
• Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
• Processing salaries as per salary record and passing accounting entries
• Coordination with vendors for invoice, billing and payments
• Recording of timesheets on the software
• Coordination with Admin and HR team as per the need
What should our ideal candidate have a.k.a “Your Requirements”:
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS & other accounting terms.
• Good command over MS-Excel & MS-Word/Google Sheets and Google Doc
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Basic knowledge of banking, E- way bills and other similar work
• Ability to keep documents and data well organized.
• Experience in Zoho books is preferred.
