This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on various aspects of financial reporting and management, ensuring seamless transactional accounting and tax compliance processes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and reconciling bank statements. They will also be responsible for processing invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner, as well as supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, and balance sheets
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to meet deadlines
