As the Financial Analysis professional in our Corporate & Investment Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Your team will be Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Central Planning & Analysis (P&A) Team and it manages the CIB forecast (monthly/weekly), the CIB annual budget process working globally with the CIB Lines of businesses, and the 10Q/K CIB commentary process. Your team is responsible for producing p/l reports and analysis that are informative, accurate, reliable and timely. Your team's key stakeholders include CIB CFO, CIB P&A Head, Corporate P&A, Corporate Reporting, CIB Line of Business P&A and CIB Product Controllers.
Your team manages the periodic (monthly/weekly) updates of the CIB P&L forecast, providing updates to CIB Management and Corporate P&A as well as managing the system submission to Corporate P&A. Your team is involved in the monthly, quarterly and year end close process providing details on variances to forecast and period on period variances. Your team manages the 10Q/K CIB Commentary process. Your team works very closely with the CIB Central Technology team and P&A partners across the Finance organization. Your team plays an integral role in the CIB annual budgeting process, the IC forecast process, accrual and analysis as well as ad-hoc analysis related to CIB Financials.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the point of contact for the CIB IC Forecast, Budget and Analysis
Provide oversight to the CIB forecast report distributed to Senior Management, Corporate P&A and LOB P&A teams
Liaise with Corporate P&A ensuring all deliverables are adhered to
Manage the month end reconciliation process - forecast versus actual
Manage the Fully Loaded P&L calculations and financials
Ensure timely and accurate information delivery. Conduct ad-hoc MIS reporting and analysis, in conjunction with other members of the CIB Central P&A team.
Work with CIB Central technology teams on testing various new functionalities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
