Financial Analytics Manager, Private Markets
Invient seeks Manager, Financial Analytics to oversee the daily tasks of skilled private market financial analysts. Your role is critical to our ability to coordinate and deliver timely and accurate analysis results, the foundation of our top-tier analytics solutions for alternative asset funds. As the Financial Analytics Manager, you will:
Monitor the progress of daily tasks assigned to financial analysts for timely completion.
Review the analysts’ output for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Proactively report challenges with task progress to group and operations managers to help take corrective action.
Research and offer timely and accurate resolutions to questions and issues raised by the analysts and escalate them to experts when needed
Participate in performance reviews of analysts by providing thorough feedback on the tasks they executed
Rapidly build your expertise in private market fund accounting and analysis to provide decisive technical leadership to the analysts.
Train analysts on specific analysis tasks they may be unfamiliar with
Qualifications
Solid collegiate education in finance and accounting
5 to 10 years of detailed financial analysis work, preferably in alternative assets
Experience in daily task coordination and monitoring in a fast-paced professional environment, preferably in financial services
Mastery in creating and analyzing complex financial spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Skillful verbal and written business communications in English
Demonstrated ability and aptitude for learning new finance and management concepts quickly
