Financial Commercial Analyst

As part of our growing finance business at Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our commercial finance team.



This is a pivotal role with a high level of exposure to all areas of our company, where you will have a real impact on commercial decisions and outcomes. Working in a fast-moving retail environment, you will be working with large volumes of data from Retail, Support Office and our Distribution Centre.

About role

Providing meaningful, actionable analysis and insights to the organisation and its stakeholders, to drive commercial decision-making
Assist in the preparation of robust budgets and forecasts, and associated plans of action
Deliver reporting that drives performance focus and accountability
Multi-divisional touchpoints across our business.
Drive commercial decisions and budget
Build productive stakeholder relationships
About you

3-5 years in an accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance role
Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting
CA/CPA qualified - Part Qualified accepted
Experience in a complex, fast-paced business environment - Retail/FMCG industry experience preferred
Advanced Excel capability, including complex modelling, reporting, and preferably query building
Proven experience as an effective business partner
Prior experience with PowerBI and visual dashboards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Proven experience in using large and complex data sets to transform them into relevant, insightful, and accessible insights
Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and influence diverse groups of people
