Job Description
Job Summary: The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The Finance Controller will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the overall goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
· Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
· Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's long-term goals
· Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
· Liaison with financial institutions for effective credit management
· Monitor cash flow and financial performance, and provide regular updates to senior management
· Coordinate with external auditors and legal advisors to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
· Ensuring tax compliance with timely returns submission
Qualifications:
· Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance)
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with experience in the garment industry preferred
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
