We are looking for a Financial Examiner (SME) to bring deep expertise in financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment, and support solution alignment across Scry AI’s finance and compliance-focused offerings. This role is critical in ensuring that AI-driven workflows align with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
Role Overview
As a Financial Examiner (SME) at Scry AI, you will leverage strong expertise in financial audits, regulatory frameworks, and risk controls to support product, sales, and client engagements. You will be responsible for evaluating financial records, identifying compliance gaps, and providing insights that align with real-world regulatory and audit practices.
This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in financial examination or compliance who can translate regulatory requirements into structured, technology-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Examination & Compliance Oversight
• Review financial statements, records, and transactions for accuracy and compliance
• Evaluate adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and control gaps within financial processes
Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation
• Assess financial, operational, and compliance risks across workflows
• Recommend controls and improvements to strengthen governance and audit readiness
• Support implementation of risk mitigation strategies
Domain Expertise & Solution Alignment
• Act as a domain expert for financial examination, audit, and compliance processes
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with regulatory requirements
• Provide inputs for audit workflows, compliance checks, and automated validation systems
Client Engagement & Advisory
• Engage with clients to understand compliance challenges and regulatory requirements
• Provide expert guidance on audit readiness, financial controls, and reporting standards
• Support pre-sales discussions by articulating compliance-driven value propositions
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and delivery
• Develop documentation, frameworks, and best practices for financial examination processes
• Support internal enablement by sharing domain knowledge and regulatory insights
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Strong experience in financial examination, audit, compliance, or regulatory roles
• Deep understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and audit processes
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify compliance risks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with financial systems, audit tools, and regulatory reporting frameworks
• Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, governance, and compliance
