Job Description
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Three years of work experience in accounting, budgeting, payroll, and grants management
Experience with general ledger functions, payroll, financial statements, audits, accounts payable & receivable
Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to complete tasks and follow-through
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel, Sage / Peachtree / Quickbooks or another Accounting software package, and administrative & office tasks
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the university, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, and grants management
Manage and maintain the general ledger, payroll, financial statements, audits, accounts payable & receivable
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures
Develop and implement effective financial management systems and processes
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to senior management
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and record-keeping
Manage and supervise administrative and office tasks
Provide exceptional customer service and phone support to students, faculty, and staff
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial operations
Collaborative and dynamic work environment
