Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. This role ensures robust financial controls, supports audits, and contributes to the firm’s internal and external financial reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Saudi accounting standards.
• Consolidate financial reports across business units and subsidiaries.
• Perform variance analysis and prepare financial performance reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of all journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) regulations including VAT, WHT, and Zakat filings.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the CMA (Capital Market Authority), for timely reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support in automation of reporting processes and implementation of financial systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA certification is a strong advantage.
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in the financial services or investment industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, and CMA compliance.
• Proficient in financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
