Job Description
This contract role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced reporting function supporting a mix of superannuation, managed funds, and insurance clients.
With multiple positions available and a team ready to move quickly, this is ideal for a Financial Reporting specialist who thrives in structured environments and can confidently own the review process end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and sign-off of financial reporting packages for complex fund structures
• Review reconciliations between accounting and tax records
• Liaise directly with clients and external auditors to manage audit processes
• Oversight of financial statement preparation across super funds, managed funds, and insurance products
• Support regulatory reporting deliverables (e.g. APRA, ABS)
• Identify and manage process workarounds during peak activity
• Utilise systems such as Multifonds, and Onsources for reporting workflows
The Ideal Candidate
You’re a hands-on Financial Reporting professional with sharp technical capability and an ability to deliver under pressure. You’re confident managing client-facing interactions and signing off reports with accuracy and independence.
Essential Experience:
• 5 + Years Deep experience in fund accounting, superannuation, or managed investment schemes
• Proven track record in financial statement review and or Tax (fund structures or financial services clients)
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong understanding of investment accounting platforms (Multifonds or similar)
• Previous success in high-tempo contract roles or Big 4 audit engagements
• Skilled in managing year-end deliverables across diverse fund types
On offer:
• Hybrid working – 2days from home option to work fully remote over end of financial year, Possibility for a Perm role at the end of contract.
• $850 to $+00 Per day, Fulltime CBD based location in Sydney or Melbourn
