Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Migration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing large-scale financial systems migration projects.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist project teams with the migration of general ledger systems from legacy systems to target systems.
• Drive and manage the testing of new financial accounting systems and reporting streams throughout the testing phases of the migration project.
• Validate changes to reporting streams and users after each testing phase of the project.
• Perform analysis on user-requested topics in financial reporting, liquidity reporting, management accounting, performance management, and credit risk reporting streams during the testing phases and aftercare phases.
• Resolve functional data quality issues within the framework of the migration and provide support to production teams during test phases and aftercare modes.
• Manage communication with stakeholders and share best practices and solutions across different regions.
• Contribute to the enhancement, standardization, and automation of new financial systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Good accounting knowledge of banking products and activities.
• Knowledge of financial reporting processes in the banking and capital market industry.
• Knowledge of corporate and investment banking (CIB) activities and products.
• Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• IT skills: Excel advanced user, database consultation (SQL, Business Objects), PowerPoint.
• Language: fluent in English (both oral and written).
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Capability to work and interact with various people of different expertise and level.
• Client-oriented.
• Collaborative worker and team player.
• Ability to report in a synthetic manner.
• Organizational skills: autonomy, capacity to manage several tasks in parallel, to prioritize, and to manage pressure.
Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in finance within the banking sector (financial accounting, reporting, business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms.
• Experience as a business analyst/project manager/functional testing in finance systems/interfaces implementation/migration projects (business analysis, functional requirements, user acceptance testing) appreciated.
• Experience of working in an international environment appreciated.
Education Level:
Master's degree or equivalent.
