FP&A Analyst (Hybrid) – Melbourne | Grow Your Career with Purpose
Are you a finance professional ready to take the next step in your FP&A journey? We’re looking for a proactive and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our high-performing Finance team based in Melbourne. This hybrid role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their commercial impact and gain exposure across an APAC-wide business.

You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, while partnering with business leaders to help drive smarter, data-led decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the APAC FP&A team, you’ll support the Senior FP&A Manager and Finance Director with:

Financial Reporting & Analysis
Delivering monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including P&L reviews, variance analysis, and financial commentary


Monitoring headcount, staff costs, capex, and departmental spend


Supporting flash reporting and risk/opportunity assessments for forecasts


Tracking and analysing key KPIs across the business


Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Coordinating budgets and forecasts for operating expenses and headcount


Updating financial models in Anaplan and preparing reports and presentations


Working closely with department heads to ensure budget accountability and financial discipline


Business Partnering
Building trusted relationships with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and other departments


Providing clear, actionable insights on performance and trends


Supporting business cases, marketing ROI analysis, and customer lifetime value assessments


Contributing to strategic planning and investment decision support


Process Improvement & Data Management
Streamlining and automating reporting and analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Anaplan


Maintaining accurate financial data across systems and ensuring version control


Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance financial processes and insights


What You’ll Bring
Degree-qualified in Accounting or Finance


2–3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management reporting


Advanced Excel skills; experience with Anaplan, Tableau, HFM or NetSuite is a bonus


Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture


Confident communicator who can work independently and collaboratively


Curious, analytical, and always looking to improve how things are done
