FP&A and Reporting Associate | Investment Management | Hybrid Chicago
A leading investment platform is looking to add a Finance Associate to its Financial Reporting & FP&A team. This role offers a mix of traditional reporting, strategic finance, and exposure to senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Support month-end close and consolidation across multiple entities, including international operations
• Prepare executive-level reporting and monthly financial presentations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments
• Contribute to quarterly business reviews and firm-wide planning processes
Investor & Stakeholder Reporting
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and investor reporting materials
• Support consolidated GAAP reporting on a quarterly and annual basis
Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify and implement process improvements across finance workflows
• Partner with teams to adopt new systems and automation tools
Leadership Reporting & Decision Support
• Build dashboards and financial reporting packages for senior leadership
• Support budgeting, KPI tracking, and strategic decision-making
Valuation & Investment Analysis
• Assist with quarterly valuations and reporting on investment portfolios
• Support investment-related reporting and presentation materials
What they’re looking for:
• 3–6 years of experience (Big 4 or relevant industry experience preferred)
• Background in financial reporting, FP&A, or controllership
• CPA preferred
• Strong Excel skills; experience with tools like Power BI, Alteryx, or Workiva is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and analytical skill set
