Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Accountant at Market Men Consumer Connect & Events Pvt Ltd. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Accountant will also assist with budgeting, auditing, and preparing tax documents.
Summarized as given below:
• Handle daily accounting entries
• Manage accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare monthly P&L and financial reports
• File GST & TDS, assist with ROC and CA coordination
• Maintain up-to-date financial records
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Support basic payroll and reimbursements
🕘 Time Commitment: ~15–20 hours per month (flexible hours)
📍 Location: Remote / Mumbai (occasional visits, if required)
✅ What We're Looking For
• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho / Excel
• Experience with GST, TDS, ROC, vendor reconciliation
• Sound knowledge of Indian financial regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong time management & communication skills
• Self-motivated individuals who can manage independently
