Key Responsibilities:
1. Fund Expenses Management:
Oversee and manage all aspects of fund expenses, ensuring accurate recording and timely payments.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to optimize expense management and control costs.
Prepare and analyze expense reports, ensuring proper allocation to respective funds.
2. Coordination with Banks & Trustees:
o Establish and maintain effective communication with banks and trustees to ensure smooth operational processes.
Manage fund-related transactions, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and timely reconciliation of fund accounts.
Handle all banking and trustee-related documentation and reporting requirements.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to AIF regulations and compliance requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to fund operations.
Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory reports and filings on time.
4. Shareholder/Investor Relations:
Provide accurate and timely information to shareholders and investors.
Develop and distribute investor reports, fund performance summaries, and other relevant communication materials.
5. Financial Analysis and Modelling:
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in fund accounting,
preferably within real estate AIF.
Strong knowledge of AIF regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership and team management experience.
Skills: Advanced knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
