Summary of the role
We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter who can take ownership of projects, work hands-on with tools, and guide others on-site. As our team takes on larger residential and commercial builds, we need someone who can step in confidently, plan ahead, and deliver quality from small bathroom renovations to full-scale builds.
Day-to-day work spans drywall, framing, siding, window and door installation, plus occasional cabinetry.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of projects and oversee day-to-day site activities
Lead and coordinate a small team of workers on-site
Plan tasks, allocate responsibilities, and ensure work progresses on schedule
Communicate with clients, team members, and other trades as needed
Measure and cut materials accurately
Perform and guide framing of walls, roofs, stairs, and floor systems
Install drywall, siding (metal, hardy), windows, doors, and casings
Assemble cabinetry, install countertops, and handle finishing details
Ensure site preparation, organization, and clean-up are completed properly
Monitor the quality of work and compliance with safety regulations
Observe and assist during inspections, ensuring standards are met
Qualifications
3+ years of carpentry or construction experience
Ability to lead and coordinate small teams
Knowledge of residential and commercial construction
Skilled with hand tools and power tools
Able to plan, measure, cut, and assemble accurately
Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license (N or higher)
Safety tickets (Fall Arrest, AWP, etc.) are an asset
Roofing and siding experience. Not required but would be a significant asset

Salary: $30 CAD/hour (occasional overtime X1.5)
