Position Details:
Role: General Manager – Head of Commercial
Company: Sterling and Wilson
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 15+ Years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Industry Preference: EPC / Infrastructure / Engineering / Project-based organizations
CTC: Up to ₹36 LPA (Fixed + Variable)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead commercial and financial operations across multiple projects
Drive project profitability, cost control, and margin optimization
Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning
Oversee invoicing, billing, collections & cash flow (DSO management)
Ensure financial closure of projects, audit compliance, and governance
Collaborate with CEO, CFO, Project & Sales teams for business success
Implement commercial controls, systems & dashboards
Lead and manage commercial/finance teams
Key Skills Required:
Strong experience in Commercial Management / Project Finance
Expertise in Profitability Analysis & Cost Control
Hands-on experience in Billing, Collections & Financial Closure
Strong MIS, SAP/ERP knowledge
Leadership experience managing large teams
