Job Overview: Global Function Technology (GFT) delivers innovative technology solutions and key global platforms for Citi's Global Functions division. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term.Our products and initiatives adhere to Citi's strategic architecture and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controls. The GFT Finance Accounting Program is a multiyear initiative which will evolve Citi's Accounting landscape, consolidating disparate flows into a Central Platform, evolving our Finance ecosystem. The program spans the entire of the Citi organization with stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Technology and the Chief Data Office. We are looking for a DevOps engineer to help us build functional systems that improve business experience of Accounting Hub application. DevOps lead responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet business needs. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely. Responsibilities: Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards Prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned Implement integrations requested by customers Deploy updates and fixes Provide Level 2 technical support Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems Perform root cause analysis for production errors Investigate and resolve technical issues Develop scripts to automate visualization Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Experience: Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques, to synthe and present complex information to stakeholders of various levels You should have a passion for technology and be conversant with industry direction, leading products and trends and a track record of having successfully delivered competitive advantage through technology services Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation Should have experience in javascript, API development, Oracle DB, microservices Should have hands-on experience on sonarqube, blackduck etc. Should have experience in build tool like maven,gradle etc. Should have experience in Jenkins, Cloudlab, ALM, Jira, Confluence and Terraform Monitoring and alerting experience Qualifications: 6-8 years of experience in DevOps and application development.
