Job Description
Join our growing Finance team in our Mumbai Centre of Excellence (CENX). Reporting to one of the Leaders in the Finance CENX Team, also based in Mumbai, this role will support our global finance processes from how we transact with clients and suppliers to our accounting processes.
Our 12-month graduate program offers global accounting process training, on-the-job coaching, and support from our People Experience & Development team. An opportunity to progress in the role will be available at the programme, based on performance.
There will be an opportunity to work in two areas, such as:
Order to cash and revenue recognition – ensuring we contract with clients correctly, accurately invoice them, collect cash and account for it all as per IFRS 15
Record to report – ensuring our accounts are accurate each month, reviewing financial reporting, posting journals and reviewing the balance sheet
Procure to pay – supporting the business to procure goods and services, ensuring the process is controlled, invoices are processed and payments are made.
Group Finance – working with the team to bring together reporting, analysis and posting central journals.
Payroll – ensuring our teams across the world get paid on time, answering queries, and ensuring the accounting entries are made.
Change and Procurement – implementing process automations and controls. Working to build on partnerships with have with our suppliers and how we get the best value for YouGov.
HR secondment – Abi to add. If you want to add in a Finance bit in the HR one maybe use “Opportunity to work in the Finance Team, broadening your experience and learn about the core finance processes from dealing with clients and suppliers, paying our employees and accurately recording our performance”
Responsibilities:
Ensuring processes are run accurately and on time
Suggesting and implementing process improvements

Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Preferred qualification of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business related disciplines.
Experience in roles which has involved finances, numbers or dealing with stakeholders
Proficiency in basic accounting principles
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is advantageous.
