About this opportunity

We're on the lookout for a hardworking and passionate Graphic Designer and Artworker to join our Creative Studio for a 12-month Fixed term contract within the Group Corporate Affairs (GCA) division at Lloyds Banking Group. If you have a flair for design, a curiosity about creativity, enjoy being part of a growing team and have a desire to make an impact, then we want to hear from you!

As a Graphic Designer, you'll join our dynamic team, working closely with our Production Manager, Creative Lead, and a bunch of other talented creatives. Together, we'll bring our corporate brand to life and showcase how we're making a positive impact for our colleagues, customers, and communities.

Whether you're crafting an infographic for a presentation, designing killer templates for social media, or creating exhibition banners for an internal event, you'll play a vital role in helping to communicate our brand strategy across various platforms. Additionally, you'll ensure consistency and quality in our creative output, making sure our brand stays on point and offering your insights to take it to the next level. And hey, there'll be plenty of opportunities for you to sharpen your skills and grow with the team!

Our mission is to protect and enhance the reputation of the Group through tailored, on-brand communication strategies and dynamic multi-channel campaigns. It's all about striking the perfect balance between being bold and risk-aware, fuelled by data and insights to continually improve and stay aligned with our overarching purpose.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with our team to bring creative ideas to life, making sure they're on-brand and meet the brief's objectives

Have a social-first approach, crafting for multiple channels, from brainstorming to launch, while keeping an eye on content performance

A balanced mix of creative concepting and art-working of assets for various channels and platforms

Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues, articulating the rationale behind your creative decisions

Stay ahead of industry trends including AI and keep honing your skills, both individually and as part of the team

Why Lloyds Banking Group

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.

What you'll need:

Experience in a fast-paced creative environment, whether in an agency or an in-house team

Proficiency in visual design, art-working, typography, digital design, and branding

Adobe Creative Suite wizardry, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, bonus points if you can rock PowerPoint, and a keen interest in using AI tools to unlock speed and efficiency. Experience in After Effects and Figma would be equally great!

A good understanding of all channel types and associated formats, along with the appetite to quickly learn and discover requirements of other specific digital systems (e.g. SharePoint Online, social media, web formats)

A keen eye for detail, with excellent organisational skills and a mastery of spelling and grammar

An impressive portfolio showcasing your talents and your ability to bring brands to life

And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.

We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.
