Position: Head Accountant
Location: Kolkata
Industry: Electric Vehicle Manufacturing
Reporting to: Director
Experience Required: 10+ years
Qualification: M.Com / Chartered Accountant
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally / ERP (Sales, Purchase, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation)
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns
• Handle payroll, PF, ESI and professional tax compliances
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and MIS reports
• Support statutory audits and internal audits
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense control
• Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and government departments
Required Skills
• Proficient in Tally
• In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Excel and spreadsheet analysis
