Overview
An excellent new opportunity is now available for an experienced leader in Finance who is passionate about running the controllership function and acting as a valued and trusted business partner to the Director Finance and General Manager of our India organization. We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and experienced Finance Controller to join our team. As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for managing, developing and overseeing the whole financial management system in our company. As financial management is crucial for our company's performance, you will play a big role in company's growth and success. Through effective leadership, Finance Controller, will build a strong team to help achieve Waters India's business objectives. The position holder reports to the Director finance of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
• Oversee various accounting operations
• Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Working capital management
• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage inventory and stores
• Produce financial statements as requested and work with statutory and Internal Auditors
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including GST
• Develop and adhere to policies and procedures
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• 2~3 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• Chartered Accountant with 12~15 years of combined experience in accounting and finance
Key Requirements
• Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers
• Knowledge of SAP, Excel and Power point
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
