Importantly, this role is based within their Indian subsidiary, wholly owned by the UK entity. Operating at the heart of the action, the Indian entity plays a crucial role in providing operational support across technology, finance, customer experience, human resources, marketing, and more to their UK portfolio companies. This tight integration connects the strategic vision of the UK team with the everyday operations of their Indian arm, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive approach to driving success for their portfolio companies.

Role Objective:

Leverage your financial skills to shape the ventures our clients have invested in and use financial strategy and innovation to scale them up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Architect: Collaborate closely with the top management team to craft and implement the business strategy for their ventures. Provide strategic insights into critical aspects like cash flow, business development, and unit economics. Your role is pivotal in shaping the future.

- Financial Alchemist: Immerse yourself in the financial landscape, from hands-on invoice processing to strategic decision-making. Utilize your financial expertise to scale up ventures, actively contributing to their success. Monitor the business intricately, generating vital MI and reports. Your hands-on approach is a vital ingredient in our recipe for success.

- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of capital allocation and strategic plans, optimizing the use of financial resources. Shape future business strategies and pricing models. Establish and monitor long-term financial goals. Your strategic insights are the blueprint for scaling up their ventures.

- Guardian of Financial Integrity: Establish and uphold stringent financial controls. Beyond numbers, instill a culture of transparency and honesty within the company. Your ethical compass will guide them through uncharted territories.

Qualifications - Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

Experience:

With a minimum of 10 years of experience, showcase your expertise in budgeting and forecasting. Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Xero, is an asset.
