Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Financial Advisory Leader with around 20 years of work experience in various spheres of Finance essentially in Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Accounting, Auditing & Financial Reporting. A suitable candidate to Lead a Finance professionals' team in ‘Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)’ to spearhead consulting for our new & existing clients in USA.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track-record in -
FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP
· Lead the finance and accounts team, providing guidance, training, and support.
· Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
· Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
· Supervise all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory ACCOUNTING & REVENUE RECOGNITION
· Manage internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and coordination.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
· Knowledge of Accounting Standards and applications of US GAAP, IFRS, IndAS, and Indian GAAP.
· Provided Technical Accounting guidance to the Team members or Clients based on the above GAAP standards.
FINANCIAL REPORTING
· Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive management and board meetings.
· Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.
· Prepared Financial Models and analytics.
BUDGETING
STRATEGIC FINANCIAL PLANNING
COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
· CA plus CFA/CMA/MBA-Finance or equivalent.
· Completed Articleship under a recognized firm preferred.
WORK EXPOSURE
· Minimum of 18-20 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management.
· Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably in a mid-sized to large consulting firm.
· Working experience in Indian GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS is must.
ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE AWARENESS & PROFICIENCY
· Proficiency/knowledge in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
· Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Presentation skills.
· Report drafting.
· Power BI application preferred.
SOFT SKILLS
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
