Job Description
Inspire Institute of Sport is looking for a Head of Finance and Accounts in Vijayanagar, Karnataka.
The individual will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial standing of the Trust. Also, will help determine financial strategy and policy, manage funds and the financial risks appropriately.
This position will be responsible for all activities related to Finance & Accounts at IIS, including:
Reviewing donor reports, fund utilization reports, 80G certificates, and CSR receipts
Ensuring statutory compliance under Direct Tax Laws, Indirect Tax Laws, and the Trust Act
Finalizing the balance sheet according to Indian accounting standards and the Trust Act
Managing budgetary controls and cash flow
Providing Management Information System (MIS) reports to top management
Overseeing financial planning and analysis
Managing contracts
Coordinating with banking personnel for banking requirements
Planning audits, liaising, and coordinating with auditors
Collaborating with the operations team at regular intervals to ensure synergy across departments
Facilitating financial reviews and due diligence by external donors
Ensuring compliance with the Department of Personnel (DOP) regulations
Required:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with more than 10 years of experience working in an NGO setting
In-depth knowledge of Finance & Accounts operations, particularly within Trust/NGO environments
Strong understanding of CSR compliance and donor reporting requirements
