HEAD OF FINANCE
Overall responsibility for managing finance, accounts, taxation, for the entire group.
- Understanding of structuring
- Taxation Understanding
ACCOUNTING:
1. Create, Maintain/Manage and finalize the books of accounts as per The Companies Act and Income Tax Act, which includes managing day-to-day accounting and finance management.
TAXATION:
1. Responsible for statutory compliances (GST, PT, TDS, Labor compliances, ROC, Income Tax etc.) of the group
2. Ensure payments of all the statutory dues as per set timelines
3. Ensure timely reconciliation of books with returns and government portals (26AS, GST, etc.)
4. Responsible for calculation of direct taxes and working of advance tax
5. Comply with all other mandatory compliances with auditors for taxation matters
Financial Control :
Responsibility to ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place across the respective Holdings and businesses. This includes but is not limited to : Group Reporting Treasury & Cash Management, Debt Facilities, Risk Management and Audits, Tax Compliance, Insurance, Contract Management and Terms of Trade & Accounting Projects & Analysis.
Corporate Finance : including foreign exchange management and optimizing the balance sheet structure.
Financial Strategy : including budgeting, forecasting, contributing to overall strategy and investment prioritization.
AUDIT:
1. Assist the team during internal & external audits with all necessary documents
2. Submission of financial statements along with groupings and details
3. Providing all necessary documents to the auditors
MIS:
1. Prepare the operating MIS for the department
2. Assist other departments in preparing and presenting monthly MIS
3. Check data source to derive inferences and help decision making
4. Prepare each company's and overall group's MIS Reports (Monthly/ Quarterly) for submission to Board of Directors / Top Management
BANKING:
1. Ensure all banking and loan related compliances are adhered to as per requirement
2. Ensure payments are done on weekly basis as per scheduled timelines
3. Co-ordinate with banks for various activities
Desired Profile:
- CA / Equivalent degree or MBA (Finance) with at least 10 years of experience
- Should have worked for a Group managing accounts & finance for multiple related companies / subsidiaries
Salary Range – + LPA to 12 LPA
