Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Fund Services team as a Hedge Fund Accountant, working closely with Client Service Managers based in Asia, Europe, and US regions.
• Review and prepare NAVs of hedge fund clients on a daily and monthly basis.
• Prepare cash position market value reconciliations and resolve breaks.
• Notify clients and CSMs of valid breaks and make necessary adjustments.
• Review pricing of the portfolio and analyze pricing exceptions.
• Review corporate actions booked in the system and ensure accurate reflection in the books.
• Accrue daily or monthly non-security related fee accruals.
• Process non-automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and cash movements.
• Effectively communicate with clients on daily reporting and estimate NAVs.
• Check all OTC products traded by the client have been booked correctly.
• Book capital activities of the fund and finalize month-end NAVs.
• Provide investor-level allocation reports and support audits for funds.
• Support global changes in key operating procedures and implementation.
Skills Required:
• Experience working with an investment management or finance-related firm.
• Good knowledge of the investment industry with 5-15 years in Hedge Fund administration or related industry experience.
• Familiarity with Paxus is a major plus.
• Critical thinking and objective decision-making skills.
• General ledger accounting experience with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
