Software Engineer Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and services that power our news platform for millions of users.
Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the core systems that ensure a seamless and reliable experience for our audience.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java, is also required.
Experience with web frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, containerization, and software development principles is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.
