Job Description Role Finance Subsidiary Controller Responsibilities The subsidiary controller is primarily responsible for the accounting operations of the entity including preparation of periodic financial statements reports ensuring that reported financials are fair and accurate and comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards and local incountry requirements compliance including maintaining separate books of accounts if required as per local law He She is responsible for timely closure of all audits internal or external and ensure timely filing of all statutory reports The controller is also responsible for assessing the risk and control environment across processes at regular intervals ensuring comprehensive set of controls are in place to mitigate risk and they are followed through The controller ensures streamlining of various policies procedures and controls and ensure they are aligned with the larger corporate other entities Exceptions if any are to be kept minimal The controller works closely with other functions including secretarial taxation treasury payroll etc to ensure smooth operations of the entity manage cash flow and ensure timely payments to employees vendors Roles Responsibilities Coown the financial plan of the business unit along with the business head Revenue governance including client interactions for deal closures and contracting forecasting revenue recognition Margin Governance including cost take out initiatives systemic and sustainable cost reduction analysis Working capital governance including unbilled reduction timely invoicing and collection improving debt ageing and PDD MIS for the business unit including sales performance tracking incentives and other analytics People management internal stakeholder management Critical attributes to success would be strong communication cadence and resilience Coown the financial plan of the business unit along with the business head Revenue governance including client interactions for deal closures and contracting forecasting revenue recognition Commercial Structuring and Deal pricing for multiple lines of business Margin governance including cost takeout initiatives systemic and sustainable cost reduction rate hikes cost analysis Working capital governance including unbilled reduction timely invoicing and collection improving debt ageing and PDD MIS for the business unit including sales performance tracking and other analytics Critical attributes to success would be strong communication cadence and resilience Qualifications Preferably CA MBA Finance Strong communication skills and ability to interact with teams in different Geos Can do attitude and faster learning curve Qualified CA or MBA Finance
