Role Description
The Marketing Support Executive is a role where you’ll support partners with aspects of their marketing. Given the nature of our company, it’s not a ‘creative’ marketing role, but it is a role where you’ll learn and utilise a range of strategic marketing, project support and relationship building skills to consult on the best marketing tactics.
• Work on behalf of our client to manage partner relations and support the promotion of vendor products using marketing tools.
• Be the main point of contact for partners, presenting available information, marketing tools, and incentives.
• Support partners in preparing marketing plans and activities.
• Support a network of IT partners, providing advice and support with available marketing tools.
• On-board partners to the Marketing Portal.
• Assist partners in becoming familiar with product and program benefits.
• Identify partner requirements and use provided materials to fulfill these needs.
• Provide demos, walkthroughs, and guidance to partners on executing campaigns through Marketing Central.
• Share feedback with the client on reseller requests to grow their businesses.
• Maintain regular contact with partners to build trusted relationships.
• Generate reports in MS Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations for local client team updates.
• Conduct partner trainings using webinar platforms.
• Manage agency delivery and ensure outcome excellence.
• Work with Packages lead and finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Qualifications
• Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in a Marketing role within the technology sector, preferably in software, data, or cloud.
• Confident in liaising and developing business relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent client liaison skills with timely and effective responses.
• Some knowledge of digital marketing (e.g., email marketing, SEO, SEA, social networks, display advertising, video production) and offline marketing campaign types (e.g., events, telemarketing, print advertising, sponsoring, incentives).
• Strong MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills for professional presentation of information.
• Interest in technology.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM system is advantageous.
