Role Description

The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining website features and functionalities to meet current and future needs, which perform well and are easy to maintain.
• Manage, enhance, and develop high-quality websites and applications which are cross-device and cross-browser compatible.
• Oversee site architecture, features, functionality, and strategies to support desired end-user experience which directly impacts business goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Manage core site infrastructure system and taxonomies.
• Collaborate with team members, marketing management, and agency team partners to scope the planning and execution of web development projects and campaigns.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and team members on requirements, website features, technical design, and strategy effectiveness.
• Ensure quality assurance and control on all technical deliverables.
• Vocalize and develop standards and guidelines for best practices and compliance such as ADA, WCAG and other state/federal privacy laws.
• Pursue and improve process gaps by developing workflows that contribute to high-level end-user experience.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating with internal team members and agency partners.
• Develop and execute successful user experiences working with UX and Creative teams.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance the user experience.
• Oversee hosting platform, domain management, and overall site security.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Ability to interface with co-workers, internal departments, service providers, and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
• 5-7 years relevant work experience developing consumer facing (B2B/B2C) websites.
• Expert skill and experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS required.
• Solid understanding of digital mediums from a sociological, technological, and tactical perspective.
• Experience working in WordPress CMS: Including custom theme development, plugin management, and backend PHP development.
• Strong understanding in best practices for web information architecture, semantic markup, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, website product lifecycle management, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing required.
• Must have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science.
• PHP Certification is strongly preferred.

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and computer skills.
• Comfortable working independently and flexibly across time zones.
• Ability to use a computer for 8.5 hours per day.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task independently.

Benefits
• CTC: As per market standards.
• Work hours: 9 hrs (Including 30 minutes breaktime).
• Shift: 4.5 hours overlap PST shift (4pm-1am IST).
• Must have Broadband availability: Min 30 MBPS.
• Access to a quiet home office environment with above mentioned broadband availability and working space to accommodate two monitors +1 Laptop.
