About the Venue:
Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is a premium 4.5-star resort style hotel overlooking the beautiful, white sandy beaches of Brighton-Le-Sands and Sydney's picturesque Botany Bay. The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best event venues in NSW.
About the Role:
As a Concierge you will be the face of our hotel, offering guests a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. Your role is all about creating memorable experiences by providing expert advice, personalised recommendations, and seamless assistance with all guest needs. You will be passionate about hospitality, highly knowledgeable about local attractions, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service that leaves a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly, offering assistance with luggage, directions, and general information
Explain room and hotel facilities to guests and answer any questions
Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, cultural events, and transportation services
Park and retrieve guest’s cars with care
Make arrangements for guest services such as restaurant reservations, tours, theatre tickets, and spa appointments
Maintain a strong understanding of the local area, keeping up to date with new venues, events, and activities
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, professionally, and with a focus on resolution
Assist with coordinating guest transportation, including taxis, limousines, car rentals, and airport transfers
Collaborate with front office, housekeeping, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly
Keep the Concierge desk, hotel lobby, and surrounding areas organized, tidy, and presentable at all times
Uphold a high standard of personal presentation and professional etiquette
About you:
Previous experience in a Concierge, Front Office, or Guest Services role is highly desirable
Deep knowledge of the local area, tourist attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
Positive, friendly, and proactive attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in hotel management systems (Opera PMS or similar)
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $31.23 – $37.47 per hour
