The Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This position will provide HR management, administration and support to our growing company. Your expertise will respond to and guide our best practices as we continue to grow our team as well as support our staff in being successful at Posterity Group. In addition to the HR requirements, we’ll look to you to provide administrative support when needed. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and values precision. Main job activities include:

HR Support
Maintain HRIS system (BambooHR considered an asset) – employee records, company policy library, templates.
Administration of employee benefits including registration, responding to queries and liaising with providers.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
Oversee performance management cycles including PIP processes and salary adjustments.
Update HR Policies and Annexes and ensure compliance with expectations set out within.
Maintain and manage training for both new hires as well as refresher training for all staff.
Support recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening applicants and scheduling interviews.
Drive staff engagement and satisfaction activities.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
5+ years of experience in HR support role with a strong background in administration, communications or related fields
Exceptional organizational, multitasking and time management skills, ability to manage competing demands
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & PowerPoint), and HRIS systems
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
A positive attitude and commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Candidates must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. The successful applicant will be asked to submit to a criminal reference check.

The anticipated salary band for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 with flexibility based on experience. Preferred locations are Ottawa, Toronto, or Vancouver however we will consider applicants based in other Canadian locations. Start date anticipated to be September 2025.
