Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated HR Officer to join our dynamic HR team. The primary focus of this role will be to evaluate and deliver training programs across different departments, enhancing staff skills, performance, and knowledge, while ensuring compliance with organisational requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of training, attendance, and progress, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to align learning experiences with our company goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the onboarding and induction processes
- Developing and delivering various learning solutions, both virtually and in-person
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs
- Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process
- Providing advice and assistance on HR policies, projects, and procedures
- Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Handling workplace relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances, and misconduct
- Assisting with performance management processes
- Supporting employee training and development opportunities and updating the employee handbook
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or in a similar HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
- Understanding of Awards, labour laws, and disciplinary procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- High ethical standards and reliability
- A relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, learning and development, education, or a related field, with relevant experience
