Position Overview:

The HR Platforms Manager will drive the successful implementation and enhancements of the Dayforce HCM solution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and supporting HRIS systems, capturing requirements, configuration, data integration, testing and managing an HRIS vendor.

Responsibilities:

Direct the day to day operations and maintenance of the HRIS ensuring system reliability, efficiency and user adoption.
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, overseeing service delivery, issue resolution, and contract compliance in partnership with our third party governance team.
Lead the implementation of best practices across the HR function, enhancing system functionality, driving process improvements and identifying areas of innovation.
Maintain data integrity, security and compliance, including accurate employee records, reporting standards and system audits.
Review vendor performance, assess system enhancements, and provide recommendations for improvements and changes to optimize HRIS functionality and cost effectiveness. Support testing efforts, data validation, employee/HR user training and go-live support.
Provide training and guidance to HR and business users on data security best practices and access protocols.
Support the gathering of and analysis of business requirements; translate them into scalable solutions and create an implementation timeline.
Design and develop integrations between Dayforce and third-party applications.
Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Maintain documentation and provide ongoing support or enhancements post-implementation.
Ensure CIBC Mellon takes advantage of HRIS’ proven solutions by mentoring and sharing product knowledge with other HR colleagues.
Qualifications:

Specific Knowledge & Skills (not preferred or an asset)
University degree or equivalent
Minimum 5+ years in HRIS implementation and data integration, preferably in the financial services sector
Understanding of HR, payroll, and scheduling processes
Proven experience leading HR technology projects, system upgrades, process automation and system integration best practices
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills to work effectively with HR, IT and business leaders
Familiarity with HR data governance and system audits.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Extensive HRIS, excel and detail oriented skills
Strong vendor management skills
