We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with other IAD team members to plan the audit and develop work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents
Work with business leadership to document the business processes and identify and test controls
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of various business processes
Use knowledge of the current environment and industry trends to identify potential audit issues, and communicate this information to management through written correspondence and verbal presentations
The Auditor will use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services
Competencies and skills
A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
1-3 years experience working as an auditor or risk advisor for a public accounting firm, professional services firm or within industry
Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, COSO and Sarbanes-Oxley
Experience in consumer products, retail, manufacturing and/or supply chain
Strong understanding of business processes, risks, and controls
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Teamwork and client service skills
Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
In addition, one or more of the following certifications is desired: CPA, CA, CIA or CFE
