We have a fantastic opportunity for an Ireland & UK Accountant role at Akm Global.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accounting professional with expertise in Ireland and UK accounting standards, specifically FRS 102 and 105. They will be responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 and 105 standards.
• General Accounting Management: Manage all aspects of general accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with both Irish and UK accounting regulations and reporting requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Accounting Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data, and coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
Requirements:
• Qualification: Any accounting graduate.
• FRS Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105 accounting standards.
• Experience: Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably within the UK and Ireland.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
