Somaiya Vinay Mandir, Primary School (Balvatika) Position: Jr. Clerk Job Location: Vidyavihar, Mumbai Qualification required: B.Com/M.Com- Accounts Knowledge of Accountancy & Salary processing is mandatary Requisite experience: Around years (accounts & administration- experience in school preferred) Proposed salary range: INR 13,000 to INR 14,000 per month Candidate requirements: Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles MS Office Should be able to read, understand, write/type in Marathi Job description (Role and Responsibilities): Perform clerical activities of a school to support principal, teachers and administrative staff Coordination with the government offices such as BMC, education offices, NGOs Updating data in various portals such as UDIES Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, cheques, etc. Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded Update accounts receivable, accounts payable and issue invoices & perform reconciliations Processing monthly salary of Aided and Unaided employees Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements Update financial data in a timely manner Maintain and manage school records in an organized manner. Assist and support school principal in running the school successfully. Answer and respond to student inquiries regarding their attendance, fees and academics. Maintain, manage and organize instructional material, tools, kits and equipment.
