Junior Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, including company payables
Reconcile and analyze financial statements, commission reports and premium trust accounts
Assist with the preparation of month end reports
Generate Ad Hoc reports
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of A/R and A/P
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to security standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks; will consider other accounting software
Working knowledge of insurance agency management systems such as AMS360 preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm EST
