Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations for our esteemed film production house.
Job Responsibility
• The junior accountant will be responsible
• Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Preferred Skills
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles at a production house
• Proficiency in using accounting software Tally and Excel Sheets
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years’ experience as a Jr. Accounting
• Prior experience in a Movie Production House is highly preferred
