We are looking to hire a Junior Accountant who'll play a vital role in the financial operations of the company, providing support to senior accountants. Job Responsibilities: • Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, using accounting software or spreadsheets. • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assisting with the processing of invoices, monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date, and resolving any discrepancies. • Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank transactions with internal records, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies. • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Supporting the budgeting process by gathering data, performing analysis, and preparing reports to aid in decision-making. • Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required. • General Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties related to finance, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records. • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. • Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, which may involve financial analysis, process improvements, or other tasks.
