Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Mahalaxmi, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
Years of Experience: 0-1
Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will process invoices and payments, assist with month-end and year-end closings, support the Senior Accountant with accounting tasks, reconcile bank statements with the general ledger, and perform marketplace sales reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and process invoices and payments.
· Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Support the Senior Accountant with various accounting projects and tasks.
· Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger.
· Reconcile marketplace sales with bank statements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Familiarity with accounting software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
