Job Description
ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance Division at our Vienna, Virginia headquarters.
Responsibilities
Payroll administrative duties to include, but not limited to, helpdesk and customer service support.
Account reconciliation and variance analysis.
Assisting in month-end closing, monthly journal entries, budgeting, and cashflow reports.
Maintaining the Finance Division's electronic journal entry files.
Assisting in the continued development and maintenance of Finance related SOP’s, guidelines, polices, and practices.
Preparing quarterly activities fund allocation and monthly unallowable report preparation.
Assisting in Accounts Receivable aging analysis and AR collections.
Entering all purchase requisitions for the Finance Division.
Performing special projects as required.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent Customer Service
• Must be a U.S. lawful permanent resident (i.e. green card holder) or US Citizen
Qualifications Desired
• Master's Degree in Accounting
• Candidate desires to obtain Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

The division implements ENSCO’s accounting practices, maintains its fiscal records, and prepares its financial reports, general ledgers, fixed asset administration, cost accounting, budgetary controls, capital expenditures, and company chart of accounts.
