A Junior Accountant with responsibilities including Tally and Excel typically has the following key responsibility areas (KRA):
1. Tally Accounting:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using Tally software.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collection of payments and processing of invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with GST and other tax regulations, including filing returns.
2. Excel Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and other reports using Excel.
- Perform data analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Create and maintain financial models and templates in Excel for various accounting tasks.
- Use Excel to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
3. Bookkeeping:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
4. Data Entry:
- Enter financial data into both Tally and Excel accurately and efficiently.
- Regularly update and maintain Tally software to ensure smooth operations.
5. Support and Assistance:
- Assist senior accountants with audits, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Handle vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments and addressing any discrepancies.
6. Reconciliation:
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations using both Tally and Excel to ensure accuracy of financial records.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain and organize financial documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and other reviews.
8. Inventory Management (if applicable):
- Maintain and update inventory records in Tally and Excel.
These responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the organization.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
